Lake Nicaragua, the largest lake in Central America and 19th largest lake in the world, is home to worlds only species of freshwater sharks. The aggressive, unpredictable Bull Shark calls the lake home. Other Bull Shark's have been known to enter into freshwater for short periods of time in other areas of the world, however only in Nicaragua do they live their entire lifespan in freshwater.
